In the past, Lake  Limbungan was just a dam  proposed for irrigation. Since the location is surrounded by the wonderful  scenery of hilly areas, it was developed  into water tourism destination by the local government of Riau province and the  inhabitants. It is densely visited on Sunday or holiday. The combination of fresh air and enthralling scenery offer you a tranquil  holiday ever. An iron frame seems like a suspension bridge improving its  beauty. You may hire motorized or traditional boat for looking around the  destination surrounded by green hills. Finally, it is a proper spot for you  loving water tourism.

Where Limbungan Lake Location?

Lake Limbungan lies in Limbungan village, Rumbai sub-district, Pekanbaru City,  Riau province. Limbungan Lake is located about 15 km away from Pekanbaru that can be reached in 15  minutes by car or motorcycle. You will find other supporting facilities such as restaurants, water  cycle, boats, playground, resorts and entertainment stages around the location.  As its strategic location, nearby the downtown of Pekanbaru, you can easily find  public transportations there.
